Access to information
Refusal, incomplete reply, or delay in providing public information.

What to do
Submit an information request
Send a request for public information to the holder — the authority, enterprise, or institution that has the information you need.
Wait for the statutory deadline
The holder must reply within the legally set deadline; if needed, send a written reminder about your request.
Document the violation
If no reply arrives, the reply is incomplete, or information is refused without grounds, keep a copy of your request and the reply.
Contact the Ombudsman
File an appeal via the online cabinet or hotline; a request concerning public information can also be sent to the dedicated request email.
The Ombudsman exercises parliamentary control over the right to access public information and responds to unjustified refusals, incomplete replies, or missed deadlines for handling requests.
